On February 10, 2026, ComeInCell held a specialized online seminar focused on mental health within the research environment. Led by Lorenzo Camisi, the session provided a dedicated space for our fellows and PIs to discuss the unique challenges of the PhD journey and the broader academic landscape.
The seminar explored several critical themes, including:
- The Research Environment: Analyzing how PI-student relationships and workplace pressures influence research culture.
- Awareness: Identifying early signs of mental health difficulties in oneself and colleagues.
- Support Strategies: Sharing practical tools and resilience-building strategies for both early-career researchers and supervisors.
