Launch of ComeInCell MSCA-DN

Supported by the EU’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions and the UK Guarantee Scheme, ComeInCell (short for “Condensates at Membrane Scaffolds – Integrated Systems as Synthetic Cell Compartments”) is a new doctoral network dedicated to pioneering synthetic cell research. The program seeks 17 PhD candidates to develop advanced models mimicking natural cell behavior, providing insights into cellular mechanisms and their implications for health and disease.

By creating synthetic models that replicate these complex systems, ComeInCell aims to deepen our understanding of cellular processes and drive innovation in drug discovery and therapeutic tools.PhD candidates will receive interdisciplinary training, rotating through 2–3 labs and working closely with academic and industry partners in biotechnology, software, and instrumentation. Annual retreats, hands-on workshops, and opportunities to engage with top-tier scientific journals will equip students with transferable skills for research, communication, and innovation.
