Several members of our MSCA Doctoral Network recently took part in the Biomembrane Days 2025, a renowned international meeting that has been held every three years since 2012. The event took place from September 29 to October 01 at the Harnack-Haus in Berlin. It gathered leading scientists in the fields of biomimetic membranes, biophysics, and synthetic systems to exchange ideas, present new findings, and strengthen collaborations within this vibrant research community.
Our ComeInCell fellows contributed actively to the conference by presenting their projects during the poster sessions, demonstrating the breadth and innovation of the work being carried out across our network. In addition, several of the PIs from our consortium — Javier Montenegro, Claudia Contini, Bert Poolman, and Petra Schwille — delivered talks, sharing cutting-edge insights from their research and highlighting the excellence of our scientific community.
We are also proud that our network coordinator, Rumiana Dimova, is among the organizers of this meeting, helping to ensure the continued success of an event that has become a key gathering point for the biomembrane research field.
We congratulate all participants for their inspiring contributions and look forward to the next edition of the Biomembrane Days!
