“Visualization of Molecules in AR/VR: A New Frontier in Molecular Studies” online workshop by MD.USE

Following the initial session on molecular dynamics, MD.USE and ComeInCell are hosting a second collaborative meeting. This two-hour lecture, fully open to the public, explores how Augmented (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies are transforming the visualization and interactive exploration of molecular systems.

The online lecture takes place on April 27, 15:00 – 17:00h CET (Berlin time).

The session explores how immersive 3D environments provide a more intuitive way to interrogate spatial organization and molecular recognition than conventional screen-based methods. Participants will learn how these technologies support structural analysis and drug discovery, specifically in ligand–target recognition and macromolecular flexibility, while seeing a technical demonstration of how AR/VR systems function for both research and scientific communication.
