On 2 October 2025, the ComeInCell and SigSynCell Doctoral Candidates gathered at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces (MPICI) in Potsdam for their joint introductory meeting, co-hosted by both networks.
The event offered a wonderful opportunity for all doctoral researchers to introduce their projects, exchange ideas, and connect across disciplines. Participants also had the chance to engage in inspiring discussions with two of our associated partners, editors from Journal of Cell Science and Nature Communications, who shared valuable insights into scientific publishing and communication.
A highlight of the day was an engaging talk on Open Science, delivered by a Data Steward from TU Delft, which sparked thoughtful reflections on transparency, data sharing, and research integrity.
